The health assessment test is a test given each year to 5th and 9th grade students around the state. The
students are assessed on their knowledge of health and decision-making skills related to the various health topics previously
taught.
Practice questions can be obtained from each building's physical education/health teacher.
The test is a common assessment test in which there are multiple choice, short answer and essay questions.
Students are graded based on a rubric which looks not only at content, but also sentence structure and development.
